About Jetline Canine Training

I grew up surrounded by dogs — most of my family had them, but I couldn't have one because my mom was allergic. We had a dog briefly when I was a kid, but had to give him away. That stuck with me.

Years later, my sister had a dog with serious behavioral issues. Nobody around her knew what to do with him. I started working with him — reading everything I could, experimenting, adjusting — and eventually turned him into a genuinely well-behaved dog. That was the moment I realized this was something I wanted to do seriously.

Before Jetline, I spent years as a corrections officer with the New York State Department of Corrections. That job teaches you patience in a way most things don't. It also teaches you a lot about behavior — human behavior, specifically — and how structure, consistency, and clear communication change outcomes. Those lessons translate directly to working with dogs, especially the difficult ones.

I worked for a training franchise for a while, and I was good at it. But I kept running into the same wall: the method was fixed, and not every dog fits the same method. I started Jetline because I wanted to do this the right way — assess each dog individually, use whatever approach actually works, and be honest with owners even when it's not what they want to hear.
