How old does my puppy need to be to start training?

We can start as early as 8 weeks. In fact, the earlier the better. The critical socialization window closes around 16 weeks, so starting early gives your puppy the best foundation possible.

Is my puppy too young for Board & Train?

Accepted Answer

We accept puppies for Board & Train starting around 12-16 weeks (depending on the individual puppy). For younger puppies, private sessions or virtual coaching are ideal until they're ready for the immersive experience.

Will you use harsh methods on my puppy?

Never. Puppy training is about building confidence and positive associations. We use age-appropriate methods that set your puppy up for success without creating fear or anxiety. Our dog trainers understand puppy development.

Question 4

My puppy bites everything. Is that normal?

Accepted Answer

Completely normal — but it needs to be addressed properly. Bite inhibition training teaches your puppy to control their mouth pressure. Without this training, puppy biting can become a serious problem as they grow.
