Puppy Training
The first months of your puppy's life shape who they become. Our dog trainer builds the foundation that prevents problems before they start — so you never need a "fix" later.
What We Cover
Puppy training isn't just about "sit" and "stay." It's about building confidence, socialization, and good habits that last a lifetime.
Socialization
Structured exposure to people, dogs, environments, and sounds during the critical socialization window. This prevents fear and reactivity later.
Basic Obedience
Sit, down, stay, come, and leash manners — taught in a way that's age-appropriate and builds your puppy's confidence.
Potty Training Guidance
A clear, structured potty training plan that works with your schedule and your puppy's biology. No more guessing.
Bite Inhibition
Teaching your puppy to control their mouth pressure. This is one of the most important skills for preventing problems as they grow.
Crate Training
Making the crate a positive, safe space — not a punishment. Proper crate training prevents separation anxiety and destructive behavior.
Leash Manners
Starting leash skills early before bad habits form. Your puppy learns to walk with you — not pull you down the street.
Who Puppy Training Is For
Whether you just brought your puppy home or they're a few months in and things are getting chaotic — we can help.
Program Options
Private Puppy Sessions (Local)
Work directly with Sean in 4 or 8 lesson packages. You'll learn alongside your puppy — building skills and confidence together. Available in the Greenville, SC area.
Puppy Board & Train (Nationwide)
For owners who want a head start without the daily time commitment. Your puppy lives with Sean for 4 weeks and comes home with a solid obedience foundation and socialization experience.
Virtual Puppy Coaching
Can't come in person? Virtual sessions are great for potty training guidance, behavior questions, and basic obedience coaching. Available nationwide.
Pro tip: The earlier you start, the easier it is. Puppies between 8-16 weeks are in their critical socialization window — this is when they're most receptive to new experiences. Don't wait until problems develop.
Frequently Asked Questions
We can start as early as 8 weeks. In fact, the earlier the better. The critical socialization window closes around 16 weeks, so starting early gives your puppy the best foundation possible.
We accept puppies for Board & Train starting around 12-16 weeks (depending on the individual puppy). For younger puppies, private sessions or virtual coaching are ideal until they're ready for the immersive experience.
Never. Puppy training is about building confidence and positive associations. We use age-appropriate methods that set your puppy up for success without creating fear or anxiety. Our dog trainers understand puppy development.
Completely normal — but it needs to be addressed properly. Bite inhibition training teaches your puppy to control their mouth pressure. Without this training, puppy biting can become a serious problem as they grow.
